Lippstadt. YouthHansa delegates from Germany and northern Europe have been as guest in Lippstadt for four days. And these four days have been full of meeting and conversations between the youthHansa delegates. Therefore there was a kind of melancholy at the closing ceremony. Hugging between the young people and cordially wishes were given to them to take with them on the several days’ journey back home.

There is a three metres high puzzle that remains as a beautiful reminder. Each delegate contributed a puzzle piece with a symbol of the home town. This puzzle will decorate the exterior wall of the youth meeting point “Shalom”.

The young people commended during the closing feedback beside the cordially hospitality especially the organisation of the hanseatic days. The operational readiness of the Red Cross and also the central accommodation in the Wilhelm school have contributed to the success.

The assembly has concluded to establish an internet forum in order to foster the contacts between the almost 100 participants of the youthHansa, to initiate new projects and to achieve an uncomplicated exchange also among large distances. Beside music and art projects the organisation of another youthHansa camp is imaginable, as it was organised successfully last year in Nowgorod.

The youthHansa organisation team with Björn Langert and Frank Osinski as well as the young people of the preparation group have received many invitations in the different hanseatic cities and they are planning to visit at least some of them.
