We are pleased to present you the program of the 27. International Hanse Convention from 10^th until 13^th of May 2007 in Lippstadt.

The days are full with numerous diversified program components - the traditional hanse market, the heart of every Hanse Convention, the historical market around the beautiful Stiftsruin, various cultural projects, for the first time the economic summit and the HANSE-Art project as well as the attractive cultural and music program on several stages in the city.

During the day the program will be generated by culture groups from 46 cities and 10 European countries. More than 90 ensembles travel at their own expenses and enjoy the hospitality in Lippstadts’ families. The spectrum ranges from shanty choirs and cultural groups until bands and orchestras. There are four centrally located stages as well as the churches available for the culture groups and the enthusiastic audience. 

In the evening hours the music program will include Finish Tango with Barbara Buchholz, Swing music with the Swing Size Orchestra, Hits with Claudia Jung and a-capella music with the band harmony central. Most of these acts take place open air and for free, only for some of the concerts a ticket has to be bought.

95 ensembles from 10 European countries are travelling to the Convention at their own expense where they will enjoy the hospitality of Lippstadt's families. The spectrum of the diverse cultural programme ranges from the shanty choir to theatre and folklore groups to concert choirs, bands and orchestras of all styles. Four central stages in the city centre (Town Hall Square, Poststraße, Bernhard-Brunnen and the Hanse Market) as well as the Brüderkirche and Jakobikirche will be made available to the cultural ambassadors from the Hanseatic cities and their enthusiastic audience. For the official delegates from the hanse cities there is a separate delegate program beside the comprehensive program.

The Promenade of Light will be completed at the Hanse Convention.
